bleh the long weekend passed just like that :(
but i enjoyed every minute of it!
Spent V day in sg, but had the touristy feeling.
The roads were totally empty and quiet at night.
Which is good, except when you're trying to find food.
Not many people celebrating v day this yr, I realised.
Cos it clashed with CNY?
And the saying that everyday can be v day if you...etc.
I'll say its crap.
It's like a birthday, a day to celebrate something significant, whether it is desirable or not.
Like a birthday, it doesnt have to be celebrated on a big scale.
And its something to look forward to. (whether attached or not)
Yesterday I went to my aunts' place alone!
I am so proud that I managed to find the house.
The gathering was surpisingly quite happy.
Arrived there looking like a hot mess. Weather getting so warm nowadays.
All my aunts commented that I look tall, taller than my bros. Haha.
and that I look abit like jamie yeo. omg not bad.
Another hk actress too. Hmm no good.
I am going to make an effort to call my small aunt cos she is always so nice to me.
I need to buy her a gift! Something practical. Money?
Actually I really don't like the idea of giving money as a gift. It's so.. insincere. Even if I really do need it.
Maybe less effort=less sincere.
=)
On a side note, I suddenly feel like perming my hair.
Lol.
Confirm will regret though.
Perm=must dye in order to see the curls=damaged hair
